来源：英国私人收藏白玉籽料，圆雕三阳开泰摆件。三羊呈蹲伏状，彼此首尾相连，依偎成团。玉羊头部留有皮色，形象写实，可见身体部位隐起的骨骼。整体雕工细腻，刻工通过团羊形态的处理，很好地体现出祥瑞祥和的氛围。 三阳开泰之说来自《易经》。“阳”和“羊”同音同调，羊在中国古代又被当成灵兽和吉祥物。从古代器物上我们可以看到，很多“吉祥”的铭文都写成“吉羊”。在古汉语中，“羊”、“祥”通假。《说文解字》说：“羊，祥也”，于是“三阳开泰”成为岁首的吉语。
