此佩为碧玉质，颜色极为均匀，堪称碧玉颜色之菠菜绿，玉质亦为细腻，尤为难得，为俄罗斯碧玉之上品，仅从其玉质来说，亦为值得关注。立体雕刻瑞兽作回首状，与蝙蝠对首相望，相互呼应。鼓 型之上饰以勾形回纹一周，两面若一，圆润饱满。取兽、蝠、平安鼓等谐音，寓意福寿平安。董永梅：扬州市工艺美术大师，江苏省工艺美术名人。
