对联书“一壶自天地，片云无古今”袁嘉敖，字甘泉，号铁脚行者、顽道人、石桥道人，晚年自号“妻子酒肉和尚”。乐亭人，生于嘉庆四年（1799），殁于光绪三年农历腊月十六（1878.1.18），享年79岁。《大清畿辅先哲传》卷二十七“高士”目下有载，说他“尤工韵语，不绳缚声律，纵横排奡，兼具禅理。尝登医巫闾山大炉花绝顶，作诗有凌云之志，人比之李青莲”。一生以卖画、授徒为业，生前嘱儿孙，其字，百年后必有识者，若生活窘迫，画可贱卖，字万不可贱卖
