款识：【盖款】金寿堂造 此器，平云尾锤形制，壶身为岩石肌理，造工精湛，搭配厚重唐壶盖，花型摘钮，磅礴大气，器宇轩昂，壶盖有“金寿堂造”款，配有原共箱，该配置为收藏重要指标。二代金寿堂雨宫宗兵卫，基本上介于二代龙文堂初代安之介与三代龙文堂之间，值得一提的是，到了明治元年（一八六八年）二代雨宫宗兵卫正式更名为雨宫宗信并在京都高迁街上道开业制造贩售铁壶。整体来说整个明治时期（1868—1912）的金寿堂铁壶几乎都是二代龙文堂雨宫宗信所做。
