Decorated with European landscape scenes depicting classical ruins by a river on one side and a half-timbered house and church with a capital in the foreground on the reverse, within gilt scrollwork cartouches filled with Böttger lustre edged with foliate scrolls in shades of iron-red, further painted with scattered insects and birds and indianische Blumen to the handle and spout, a gilt strapwork border under the rim, the domed cover with similar indianische Blumen issuing from stylised rockwork, the silver-gilt mount with a thumbpiece with strapwork, marked for Elias Adam, Augsburg, 20.5cm high (2)
