An Egyptian limestone double-sided relief fragment naming Nefertiti New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty, Amarna Period, reign of Akhenaten, circa 1353-1336 B.C. In the form of a block of rectangular cross-section, from the 'River Temple' of Akhenaten, one side inscribed in sunken relief with two vertical columns of text, the left reading 'in his lifetime, given life', the right reading 'main royal wife, his beloved, mistress' the other side preserving the lower half of a cartouche for Queen Nefertiti, and part of a second cartouche, 14.5cm high x 22cm wide x 21cm deep
