蒋蓉（1919- 2008），别号林凤，江苏省宜兴市川埠潜洛人。1995年被授予"中国工艺美术大师"称号。蒋蓉的作品在中国紫砂工艺史上技术精湛，生动具真，别树一格，成为中国紫砂工艺史上第一位女工艺美术大师，现任中国美术学会会员，中国工艺设计协会委员，江苏省工艺美术协会名誉理事。蒋蓉作品曾在全国工业会议上评为"特等奖"，并为周恩来总理出访东南亚等国家制作礼品。1956年，江苏省人民政府任命她为紫砂工艺"技术辅导"，这在当时历史情况下是工艺界的一种最高荣誉和待遇。
