A Chinese Canton carved tortoiseshell box & cover, Qing, 19th century, the cover deeply carved with figures taking tea, amongst other figures, buildings and pine trees, the base carved with figures amongst pine trees, the sides with flowerheads, 9cm diameter Condition report: Just below the rim of the base is a 1.3cm long splice hole, approx 3mm at its highest. There is also a small chip/shallow hole in the foot rim of the base.
