题识：录近作读韩非子杂诗之一，一九八七年十月，朴初。|钤印：赵朴初、无尽意|释文：世有千金马，而无千金鹿。鹿亦能挽车，不及马之速。马鹿之为喻，人事榖不榖。此盖当时谚，而见韩非子录。史载赵高事，有类夔一足，二世固可欺，欺之宜有术。何不示以诚，而以诈自暴，是知定不然。虚喻掩实物。盖指劣为优，或指奸为朴，指非以为是，指瘠以为沃，庸愚夸才智，恶臭当芳馥，马鹿任混淆，云雨恣翻覆。悠悠二千年，此类代相续。日人有詈言，其或由此出。
