器呈六方型，深直腹，下承六足，口沿以矾红彩饰回文，六边起楞，开光处分别绘制山水，人物，花鸟，间以诗文点缀。胎体端庄厚重，釉面肥腴圆润，粉彩色泽浓烈，此笔筒色彩雅致，画风写意，画面意境悠远，釉面润泽，色彩鲜艳，绘画笔法娴熟，应用了国画中的勾，点，染，皴等技法，犹如名家所绘写意画，画意生动，为雍正时期精美的文房清玩。口沿有磕底有冲线
