possibly dating to the Restauration period (circa 1830) The marble top above three short frieze drawers, over a roll top mounted with a central Mercury mask within an oak-leaf wreath adorned with anthemia and palmettes, scrolled foliage and lotus leaves, enclosing three compartments and three drawers, with a gilt-tooled leather inset slide below, each end with a leather inset slide, above one long and two short drawers, with two drawers flanking the kneehole, on square tapering legs, 166cm wide x 77cm deep x 132cm high, (65in wide x 30in deep x 51 1/2in high)
