此件兽耳炉体形矮扁，口沿圆滑，其上兽耳生动形象。口微微内收，腹部向外圆鼓。腹部扁，平底，圈足。底款六字楷书“大明宣德年制”，字体端正大方。足边及口边有连珠纹装饰，器身上下周饰莲瓣纹点缀。整炉熟栗壳色皮，上面遍布有大小不一的金片，极富变化。配盖，盖面拱形，镂空花卉纹。此兽耳炉沉稳庄重的造型，古雅精美的皮色，配以诗意闲适的款识，实为一件不可多得的铜炉佳作。 来源：2015年购于美国， C. Philip H. Living Trust (Pebble Beach, California)旧藏
