题识：马背不如牛背稳，谁云骑马胜骑牛 仿云林书法、骑驴过小桥，独叹梅花瘦 写于子宾六兄大人清玩 少维氏。

钤印：王氏 吴人 王少维（1817-1887），字廷佐，安徽泾县人，活跃于1872年至1887之间，同治、光绪年间供职于御窑厂，王少维与金品卿并称“御厂两支笔”，与程门、金品卿并称“浅绛三大家”，王少维是御窑厂在籍画师，擅人物与山水结合。其人物用笔疏简浅淡，造型严谨，形神具佳；其山水仿宋赵大年和元人山水一路，布局清新、色彩雅致，画面精美。
