大明洪武年制 法盏炉的器型仿自元朝枢府窑款式，原为道家施法时所用的法器，在宣德炉谱中，分有“雁翎法盏炉”“悬珠法盏炉”和“连珠法盏炉”三种，相传宣德皇帝曾下旨以此为原型铸造铜炉，分赐道观。其造型特别，为后世沿用以充文房清供。 此炉为雁翎法盏炉，炉型似直筒，上阔下收，侈口，平唇，两雁翎耳对称置于炉侧，底部突起三足，三足浑圆，向下渐收并向内弯曲成弯足，整体炉型臻于完美，为清代典型器物。炉皮色栗色，发色幽深，通体莹润，厚如釉，古香古色。底刻“大明洪武年制”六字楷书款，先铸后修，字体规整雅致，无半点走心，清爽淡然。 整器线条舒展流畅，铜质细腻，黄青相生，炉虽小而沉手，为佛前供奉佳器。平配有原配底座，实为难得。
