Description

北京风格 章嘉活佛与达赖、班禅、哲布尊丹巴为清代藏传佛教格鲁派四大活佛系统，主要管理内蒙古地区佛教事务，共传七世。其中三世章嘉若必多吉（1717-1786）最著名，与乾隆自幼相识，关系密切，为后者奉为上师。 此尊造像为乾隆时期内地造像，工艺较为细致。章嘉活佛为中年僧人形象，头戴班智达帽，表明他是精通五明的佛学大师。右手当胸结说法印，左手结禅定印。穿交领式僧衣，外着僧袍及袒右式袈裟，跏趺坐于卡垫之上。卡垫上凿刻织物效果，阴刻细密缠枝连纹，显得精美华丽。
