盒以竹根雕制，略呈椭圆形，雕琢桃式，分作盖身两部分。盖与身为活环连接，整体为一块材料所制，极为特殊。盖雕刻桃叶、蝙蝠纹等，代表着寿与福。此盒为存置树脂香料及香饼、香丸之类所用，小巧玲珑的器形为书房案头倍添情趣。 最突出的还是活环结构，匠心独具；且持存至今仍完好无损，更见难得。整体于方寸间经营安排，煞费苦心；雕琢的层次、盖与身的比例、活环的穿插，显示出高妙的匠意。特别是磨工精到的活环，作为点睛之笔，体现香盒制作的创意创新。来源：1、香港佳士得2006 2、日本藏家旧藏
