「文章山斗」四字双行楷书款笔筒圆口，长直腹，形制规整，平底，底心露胎一周，中心有脐，脐内落“文章山斗”四字楷书款，胎体坚质细糯，通体施釉平滑明润。外壁通景描绘竹林七贤在幽静的庭院中，芭蕉、竹石、群卉相伴，或围坐听琴，或观赏画作，或下棋对弈，四周童子随侍，一派恬淡的世外情怀。画面中人物的年龄、衣饰、神态各异，但都刻画生动，极为传神。青花发色艳丽，画工精细，画面格调高雅，具有浓厚的文人气息，不仅为康熙时期青花文房器之佳作，抑且是所见类似画意中的精品。文章山斗意指文章为人所宗仰。出自语本《新唐书·韩愈传》：“自愈之没，其言大行，学者仰之如泰山北斗云。”以其当做款识书写在笔筒之上，充满文人情趣。
