观音瓶是流行于清代康熙至乾隆时期的一种瓶式，观音瓶特征是侈口，颈部较短，丰肩，肩下弧线内收，至胫部以下外撇，浅圈足，瓶体修长，线条流畅。此件青花夔龙纹观音瓶器型敦厚端庄，秀美规整，胎体洁白细腻，釉面莹润有肥亮感。青花色泽深浅有致，釉色白中微微闪青。青花龙纹仿古代青铜器上的夔龙纹，龙形古朴凶猛健壮。夔龙纹是传统装饰纹样，常见于古钟鼎器物上，主要流行于明、清景德镇瓷器上。
