梅瓶是一种小口、短颈、丰肩、瘦底、圈足的瓶式，以口小只能插梅枝而得名。因瓶体修长，宋时称为“经瓶”，作盛酒用器，造型挺秀、俏丽，明朝以后被称为梅瓶。此件梅瓶唇口，短颈，丰肩，长腹收敛，隐圈足。通体施豆青釉，青润凝秀，釉色深沉，贵气内敛。整器造型端庄，器型规整，瓷胎紧密，腹部刻划福寿三多纹，寓意吉详。三多纹饰中国传统吉祥图案，典故源于《庄子·外篇·天地》，民间以佛手柑与福字谐音而寓意“福”，以桃子多寿而谐意“寿”，以石榴多子而谐意“多男子”，称为“福寿三多”、“华封三祝”或“多福多寿多男子”，表现多福多寿多子的颂祷。
