「聚玉堂制」四字双行楷书款此件瓶口呈蒜头型，长颈，溜肩，垂圆腹，圈足，通体施天蓝釉。其线条柔美起伏，尽见迤逦之姿，所施天蓝一色，匀净莹亮，静穆古雅，胎骨细薄坚致，丽质怡人，其釉面下刻划有缠枝西番莲纹饰，刻画线条流畅飘逸，与淡雅之釉色相辅相成。蒜头瓶，因口若蒜头而得名，始于战国晚期，流行于秦汉，有铜制与陶瓷制之别。蒜头瓶口如蒜头状突起，宋人认为可塞其口，而瓶颈细长便于握持，瓶腹扁矮可以盛装，故称之为温壶，用作酒器。宋以后为仿古器式，历代皆有，明、清景德镇窑有青花、五彩、粉彩及单色釉品种。天蓝釉为康熙年间景德镇御窑厂创新釉色，其釉色淡雅悦目，似天青之蓝，可与同一时期创烧的豇豆红釉媲美，将其施于蒜头瓶上自是釉纯器美，相得益彰。
