For his love is meant the art of drawing and will constantlys serve also to determining criteria for his work as glass artist. In a combination of pictorial satirist and skilled craftsman Reekie's work is placed in the tradition of the painter, engraver and social critic William Hogarth. Reekie is represented with his objects in many private collections and international museums. Reekie's Liebe gilt der Zeichnung, die auch in seinem Schaffen als Glaskünstler bestimmendes Medium bleibt. In der Kombination aus zeichnendem Satiriker und begabtem Kunsthandwerker steht Reekie in seiner Themen- und Bildfindung in der Tradition des englischen Malers, Graveurs und Sozialkritikers William Hogarth.
