SILVER FORM DEPICTING VISHNU Bronze India , 18th century Dimensions: Height 8,5 cm by 8 cm Weight: 651,9 grams Domed plaque with negative relief of Vishnu standing in the centre with four arms, holding conch shell and dharma wheel, two other hands lowered gesturing mudras. He is wearing a striped dhoti, multiple bands and belts and a conical headdress. He is framed by various ornamental patterns in pointed arches, and two small pillars on the side. The back is flat. A very detailed piece of work.
