来源：日本藏家旧藏圆盒顶隆起，一朵盛开花卉占据盒面中心，周围枝茎蔓生，花蕊围绕，叶脉正反并见，虽得茂密，却并不拥挤，繁中有序，高下之品，一目了然。盒盖上花姿灵动，娇然盛绽，国色天香，尽蕴其中，盒底与盒面纹饰相同，此类盖盒最是考验艺匠的雕刻工夫。永乐时期，漆作成就空前绝后，剔红技艺发展之高超成为典范，正是为了精益求精，此时扬弃黑漆，崇尚剔红之艳。本品为此时的杰出作品，漆色暗红沉稳，工艺精湛。
