原盒银盖来源：日本藏家旧藏炉平口外撇，束颈鼓腹，呈簋式，造型大气磅礡，比例规整敦厚，薄口坠腹，重心偏下，圈足外撇，显得沉稳厚实。炉肩两侧饰双狮耳，狮首威严，凸目宽鼻，额头凸出，鬃毛毕现。整器造型古朴典雅，通身施茄皮紫釉，釉色华丽沉稳。茄皮紫釉创烧于明代中期，清康熙时期甚为流行。茄皮紫系以锰为着色剂，在850度左右火候窑温中烧成。其色紫中泛蓝，釉质肥厚光润，釉色有深浅两种，深者呈紫黑，浅者呈淡紫，以无裂纹者为上乘。
