Description

清 青白玉太平有象把件 Qing Dynasty period. Carved in the form of boy holding a lotus leaf on top of elephant. Height: 2 in (5.1 cm) Length: 1 6/8 in (4.4 cm) Width: 1 in (2.5 cm) 玉質溫潤細膩，局部褐黃色沁色。通體圓雕而成，配合浮雕和線刻等技法，琢童子持蓮攀援於象背之上，大象回首，體態豐盈，健碩溫順，大耳下垂，低首卷鼻，呈現出一派怡然自得的姿態。整器童子面部表情、衣著紋理、大象鬃毛发腳皆刻畫精細，栩栩如生，面面俱到。寓意“太平有象，富貴如意”，也寓意萬象更新。
