Decorated in relief with a pair of birds on a tree among flowering plants, roses, peonies
Bone fittings and and a tortoiseshell cover carved and pierced with a deer and two cranes among pine branches and leaves

Condition: Three insects holes to the gourd body (see photos attached), circular wooden base has been 'blue-tacked' to the gourd, some ageing to the bone rings which appear brownish; tortoiseshell part of the lid in very good condition
