Moulded around the bulbus half with a scholar pouring tea, attended by a page boy, seated in a garden with flowering plants issuing from pierced Taihu rocks, beneath a collar of pendant leaf lappets encircling the mouth, the base with a spurious moulded four character Qianlong mark; the fitted domed tortoise-shell cover reticulated with dragon and a aquatic plants, insects, animals, amid scrolling plants

Condition: With four insect holes to the body and dust to the inside, slight discolouration to the ivory ring as shown on the catalogue photos
