A silver gilt presentation goblet, London 1814 by Samuel Hennell and John Terry. The cup in a fluted campana form on a tapered round foot. Edward Pellew, 1st Viscount Exmouth was a distinguished Naval officer in the British navy. This cup was given by him as a gift to his sons' nanny, Mrs. Payne for caring for the boys while he was in Europe. Height 18 cm (7 in.)
