Description

1853年台湾“府库军饷 足纹通行”如意银饼一枚，K-2b/LM-323，系台湾府为应“林恭事变”之需于台南铸造，铸行时间短暂，且大多被熔毁改铸，存世极稀；因彼时民间有凿印验色习惯，拍品频繁流通中留下诸多验印，上穿一小洞，NGC VF Details
咸丰三年（1853年）四月，李石、林恭于凤山县起事，震惊全台。事起后军需粮饷暴涨，台湾道库急拨银两，由台湾知府于台南铸造如意、笔宝银饼，以应急需。六月林恭等围城不下，败走水底寮，事败被俘均遭处死。此次民变时间很短，所铸银饼，事平之后即不续铸，铸额无多。—摘自《中国近代金、银币选集》，鸿禧美术馆，1990年，页50。
