这尊造像双手结禅定印，头饰高螺髪，肉髻圆隆，顶饰摩尼宝珠，是宋元以来中原汉传佛教常见的装饰形式。面相方正端庄，眼睑低垂，目光下敛，双目宛若未开敷的莲花苞，俯视着芸芸众生，神态慈祥柔和，典型的明代汉地造像面相特征。身着袒右肩袈裟，跏趺端坐仰莲座之上，袈裟垂于莲台之上，衣角悬于莲台前方，体现出写实性技法，表现出衣料较强的质感，整尊造型端庄大方，比例舒展匀称，胎体厚重敦实，时代风格鲜明，是明代中原造像中的典型作品，并且体量颇大，錾花精美，非常难得。
