素三彩是指在高温烧成的素瓷胎上用彩釉填在已刻划好的纹样内，再经低温烧成的瓷器。此坐像以瓷为胎，施黄、绿、茄皮紫三彩釉，釉彩透华贵，素而生辉以黄、绿、紫三色为主，但不限于此三色。塑像施白釉，微微泛黄，好似人之肤色，此尊布袋和尚长眉笑目，双耳垂肩，面容喜庆，口角含笑，袒肩露腹，扶膝踞坐，手中布袋斜置于身后，身披袈裟，双腿一盘一立，双手皆扶膝，形象栩栩如生，整体造型丰满，釉色饱满亮丽。
