Two famille jaune bowls
Two famille jaune bowls, Tongzhi period (1862-1874) or Republic period, early 20th century, China, The inside decorated with gourds and flowers. The outside with a similar pattern against a yellow ground and roundels which show valuables. Greek key borders. Both marked with an underglaze blue four character Tongzhi mark and possibly of the period. D 15,7 cm, H 7 cm, One bowl with chip to edge. Slight wear of the gilding. The other bowl with a possible hairline (shows on inside not on outside).
