A large famille verte flower basket charger, Kangxi period, ca. 1700, China, A large wall plate depicting a large flower basket with arch handle and ribbon, filled with various flowers including lotus. The wide border with panels filled with flowers in landscapes. All executed in famille verte enamels plus a tick overglaze blue enamel. Marked on the back with an underglaze blue Kangxi mark and of the period.
Provenance: The property of a collector from Monster. D 39,5 cm, Rim chips and wear. One hairline. No other cracks and no restoration.
