此件带钩形体硕大，采用和阗白玉籽料雕就，玉质温润洁白。整体作龙形，龙首当钩，头部略方，眼圆凸，粗眉翻卷，双角后翘，如意形鼻，阔口露齿。钩身微拱，表面高浮雕一螭龙。小螭四肢匍匐，尾呈分叉翻外卷，与钩首之龙头相对，似正在窃窃私语。下有钩钮，作佩系之用。元明清时期玉带钩造型趋于统一，以龙首带钩为主流。此件器物端庄雅气，龙体苍劲，做工精湛，寓意“苍龙教子”，具有典型的元代特征，属同类之精品。参阅：台北故宫博物院藏“元代龙纹带钩”。
