此件小洗由和阗白玉雕就，玉料致密润白，纯净无暇。器体圆雕成半切葫芦形，中部掏膛成洗，器面光素无纹，朴素至极，配有红木器座，十分雅致。葫芦有颇多吉意，谐音“福禄”，故此这一题材在乾隆晚期各类艺术品中广见。
