The central panel depicting a vast manor complex in the midst of a festive evening, the extensive buildings and grounds silhouetted against a lake and distant hills, the scene enclosed by borders of fans decorated with landscapes above and scenes of mythical animals below, the end panels carved with monumental dragons in clouds and bearing a cyclical date jiachen (1844/1904).
