Elegantly rendered with a tree peony growing near a large rock where two long-tailed pheasants perch, elements of their feathers composed of peacock feathers, shimmering against the pastel colors of the composition, rendered in the style of compositions by the early Ming artist Lin Liang (1424-1500), the signature rendered here in kesi witha red seal.
