The shallow bowl with a short everted rim and carinated body flaring into a broad mouth at one end, set on a ring foot, the wishbone-shaped handle terminating in a maenad head and surmounted by an acanthus leaf thumbrest and the head of a snake, two serpentine supports below, 17.5cm wide注脚Provenance:
