An important early 19th century English porcelain cup and saucer, probably Coalport, decorated with the arms of Vice Admiral Horatio Nelson, Viscount Nelson of the Nile, KB, flanked by a sailor and a lion surmounted by a Viscount's coronet and two crests, the motor "Palmam qui Meruit ferat" below, the cup with the arms of Bronte surmounted by a coronet with oak leaf and acorn decoration to cup and border of saucer.
