Comment: Reference 6263 has been manufactured for almost 20 years, during which very few have been produced in 18k or 14k gold with a few rare exceptions bearing the designation "Superlative Chronometer Officially certified" on the dial. Created in 1973, the COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres) is a non-profit association founded by five Swiss cantons: Berne, Geneva, Neuchâtel, Solothurn and Vaud, with headquarters in La Chaux-de-Fonds. It issues the "chronometer" certification for each watch sent to its laboratories that meets the required standard. Our example is therefore an important variant in the manufacture of the famous iconic reference of the brand with the crown.
