A small Satsuma plate Meiji era (1868-1912), circa 1900 Painted in colored enamels and gilt on a crackled glaze with a representation of Fujigawa Station from Hiroshige's Tokaido gojusan tsugi (53 Stations of the Tokaido Road), framed by a border of lozenges and hollyhock leaves on a ground of blossoming autumn plants, the rim painted with a key fret band, signed on the underside in gilt Kinkozan tsukuru 7 1/8in (18.1cm) diameter
