位在加贺藩的宫崎寒雉家，代代都称为彦九郎寒雉。宫崎家的寒雉是住在能登国，初代寒雉的爷爷是仁右卫门，父亲是彦九郎，有一个弟弟叫彦三郎义次。此件作品为江户明治期京都釜师名门宫崎寒雉作品。高年代的京铁名作家型铁瓶，不同于一般商业气息较浓厚的堂号型铁瓶，作品为天猫器形，风格简约朴拙。
