款识：【盖款】金寿堂造【身款】金寿堂 壸 乃明治时代雨宫宗造的金寿堂铁壸。壶身带浮雕搓金，配上宝珠形摘，衬托得宜。金寿堂是京铁壶代表堂号之一，与龙文堂堪称日本铁壶铭文的两大堂号体系。其强调壶体制作精美，制作铁壶的技法独具一格，擅长运用金、银、铜不同的金属材质镶嵌或浮雕于壶身或壶把上，在当时极为珍贵华美。此壶华丽出众，在铁瓶的古朴肌理上，以金镶嵌出飞鸟图，纹络清晰，手工精湛，壶身另一面也铸有精美浮雕，构成静中显动的画面。盖内和壶身均有款“金寿堂”，可见其历史地位。
