A lovely Gandharan stucco head from the Indus Valley, ca. 4th - 5th Century AD. This superbly detailed sculpture is 3-5/8 inches high, is masterfully carved from stucco and depicts a bodhisattva. He is portrayed with a serene countenance, elongated ears and wearing a turban studded with an elaborate ornament.
