JAPANESE ARMOR ELEMENTS
Japan, 19th and 20th century
Lot including:
- Helmet / KABUTO, the bomb in boiled lacquered leather, the wings / FUKIKAESHI and the neck guard / SHIKORO with three wrought iron slats;
- Half-mask / MEMPO in wrought iron with a wrought iron throat with three slats also in lacquered wrought iron;
- Leather / DO articulated with lateral opening also in lacquered boiled leather;
- Accessories / SANGU to the skirt, thigh and arm protectors in boiled lacquered leather.
The elements are mismatched. One could speak about a composite armor (elements sold in the state, wears, lacks, jumps).
