These could have been in any of them, though we have a few drawings of a similar flavor which are labeled Oak Street Beach, which is south of Lincoln Park. My father was definitely not an avid swimmer, but might have joined friends socially on trips to the beach, plus it's a way of getting free life drawing classes without having to hire a model.
