A GOTHIC REVIVAL BRONZE MANTLE CLOCK, FRENCH, THIRD QUARTER 19TH CENTURY, in the Flamboyant Gothic architectural style with an elaborately cast case surmounted by a coronet ringed urn with domed lid and fruiting finial, over flying buttresses and obelisk spires with stylized fleur-de-lys finials, lacy pierced quatrefoil and trefoil details within arched and slanted moldings, centering a beaded bezel with convex glass opening to a circular off-white porcelain dial with stylized black Roman chapters and black cut-steel hands on a gilt scrolling tendril detailed face flanked by twin key escapements, reversing to an eight-day brass clock movement with stamped pastille "JAPY FRERES & CIE MED.
