A LARGE CHINESE/TAIWANESE WOOD SCULPTURE OF LAN CAIHE, CIRCA 1982, beautifully carved from a single block of wood and representing the maiden deity with an elaborate chignon hairstyle and a serene smiling expression, while wearing elaborately detailed celestial billowing robes and holding a long stemmed lotus bloom, descending from stylized scrolling clouds and raised on a separate rectangular wood base.
