A RESTAURATION GILT BRONZE MOUNTED WHITE ALABASTER PORTICO CLOCK, 1820s, the rectangular marble block and bronze molding form cornice above egg-and-dart and dentillated bands, on a frieze centering reticulated paterae and palm fronds cast mount over paired Doric columns, enclosing an octagonal bezel detailed with scrolling floral leafy stems alternating stylized acanthus foliage in relief, framing a circular white enameled ring dial with black Roman chapters and a conforming engine-turned panel centering pierced gilt metal hands and twin-key escapements above a blank oval cartouche, suspending an adjustable grille rod and engine-turned disc pendulum, over a gilt molding mounted rectangular base with a matching paterae and palm fronds detailed bronze, above a leaf tip banded later giltwood plinth centering associated paterae and leaves metal panel, raised on engine-turned compressed bun feet.
