Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Qianlong blue and white porcelain wine container high:50.5cm,abdomen:37cm. The porcelain potted in double tube form, with hexagonal shape, round, shoulder tapering to tall cylindrical neck, with close rim, emerging two archaic ribbon flanked on the neck, raised on short hexagonal, splayed and deep concave foot base. All reserved in clean white underglaze base color which contrast against the cobalt fine blue color. Blue and white porcelain in Chinese it is called Qing Hua Ci. It is the most important variety of China’s porcelain. It was originated in the Yuan Dynasty. Its color does not easily fade and durability is longer. It used cobaltous oxide as the colorant. Patterns were directly painted onto the inner body and burnt after glaze was applied on it. The exterior delicately fine depicted with flying Fu-bat among flowers blooms, foliage and scrolling interlocking tendril. Auspicious pattern and repeating key fret decorated on the upper mouth rim, mid belly, and the foot rim. Each section part banded and enclosed with double fine blue rings. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the underglaze grayish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze.
